This book was very interesting for all of us. The story is outstanding and dramatic. Therefore, it was very easy to understand and catch our attention. While we were reading it, the stories moved back and forth from the past to the present. Thus, at the beginning it was difficult and confusing. However, after few chapters, the stories were flowing smoothly and it motivated us to read more. We had the opportunity to know about another culture and friends relationships. While we were reading the book, we thought that Amir was selfish and dishonest with his friend Hassan. Also, the story’s transition came suddenly. Amir had a completely new life in the U.S. However, the phone call from Rahim made everything changed. Amir knew the secret of Baba, and Amir went back Afghanistan to have a self-redemption. In our opinion we did like it even though it was a rough book.
